MUSLIM SCOUTS PROGRAM

Beavers

Fun and friendship are the cornerstone of the beaver program. Beavers enjoy time with their friends and meet new ones through outdoor activities, creative play and cooperative games. Beavers develop an appreciation and sense of caring for the environment.

Cubs

ages 8-10

Sports, weekend hikes and challenging activities like canoeing or camps are just a few of the fun outdoor adventures that cubs enjoy. Cubs are encouraged to plan their own activities and opens their door to try new adventure they never thought possible

Scouts

ages 11-14

Scouts can take their outdoor adventure skills to the next level with activities like mountain biking, rock climbing and lots of camping, and explore memorable opportunities like national or international jamborees.

Venturer

ages 15-17

Developing life skills to climb the mountain of their goals and reach their personal summit, Venturers aged 15-17 embark on greater expeditions and acquire real-world experiences that prepare them for future success.

What is Scouts

Scouting is a program for boys and girls and its all about; outdoors adventures, physical activities, community service, hands-on learning, leadership development, teamwork, character building and friendship. Scouting provides kids with a range of activities and experiences that makes them better prepared in the future.

Why Muslim Scouts

Religion and spirituality is a key part of the Scouting movement. The Muslim Scouts of Canada adheres to the principal articles of Islamic Faith. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy Scouting activities and program in A safe and balanced Islamic Environment according to the Qur’an and the Sunnah (teaching and guidance) of Prophet Mohammad (SAW). Scouts will be able to earn merit badges for Islamic based values and activities. Muslim Scouts is an affiliated member of Scouts Canada. All our troops have completed their training through Scouts Canada and hold an active membership.
